Jack Spencer, a 19-year-old, has joined the space fleet that is on the way to capture the aliens that had invaded his world years ago. The reader will be introduced to all the colourful characters from the Kingdom of Puli; Wizard Merlin, General Hercules, King Brutus, Queen Allegra and many others. It is an old fashioned tale of good versus evil that will keep the reader gripped to the story from start to finish. We allow them into the secret kingdom of Puli that is hidden above the clouds where magic exists. Open the book and be transported to a faraway kingdom...

The knight is about to step out when a horrible scream suddenly fills the cave room and the soldiers look around. The scream continues and it sounds like someone is in pain. The knight orders them to stand in line and be ready for combat. They don’t have to wait for long until they see something coming. A light is getting closer and so is the scream. The scream is so chilling that for the first time even the knight feels his hairs stand up on the neck. A woman, wearing almost nothing, with white shiny hair is walking towards them. The knight shouts to her to stop. Instead, she brings up her arms and the soldiers immediately bring up their shields. A strong wind suddenly flows within the room and seconds later a beam of ice streams out from her hands.

Some have been known to find graces in their ill fate, just as others have gambled away their luck, life in the Aulverse however, just as any life, is what you make of it, so why not turn your back on the chain gang and the ivory towers? Why not venture out into No Man’s Land and peruse the diabolical Grisly Woods – really get that blood pumping? Who knows? You might even get to the bottom of the mysteries of this place, figure out why it is that one even finds themselves here, or how exactly, one might escape.

I often hear people wondering if life carries on after death. It always makes me smile. That’s exactly what happens.

And I used to think no one would discover the truth while they were alive. I was wrong. A sixteen-year-old boy just did. His name is Jonathan Powers and this is his story.
